なぜやるか
Part6の1パッセージに必ず1問ある文挿入問題は、多くの人が苦手とする問題タイプです。
「どの文が自然につながるか分からない」と感じる人の多くが、実はシンプルなヒントを見落としています。
そのヒントが指示語です。
挿入候補の文の中に this / these / it という語が含まれている場合、それは「空所の直前にある名詞・情報を指している」サインです。直前の文を読んで「何を指しているか」を確認するだけで、正解が一気に絞れます。
このLesson 03を終えると、文挿入問題で「まず指示語を探す → 何を指すか確認する → 前後の流れに合うか検証する」という手順が自然にできるようになります。
攻略法
文挿入問題の2ステップ解法
- Step 1：挿入候補の4文をざっと読む
→ this / these / it などの指示語を含む文に注目する
→ 指示語がある → 直前の文が何を指しているか確認する - Step 2：空所の前後の文と論理的につながるかを確認する
→ 前の文の内容を受けている文か？
→ 後の文へ自然に話がつながるか？
指示語の種類と使い方

ポイント：指示語を含む文は「直前の文の直後」に置くのが自然です。空所の前の文を読んで「この指示語は何を指すか」を確認しましょう。
指示語がない場合の判断ポイント
挿入候補の文に指示語がない場合は、論理展開のパターンで判断します。
