Day 27：精読トレーニング ― 前置詞句を括って骨格を見抜く
なぜやるか
Phase 1〜2で文法と構文を学び、Day 23〜26で総復習しました。今日は精読のトレーニングを行います。
精読とは「英文を1文1文、正確に意味を取る」読み方です。速読の逆です。
「速読のほうが大事じゃない？」と思うかもしれませんが、精読ができない人に速読はできません。 1文の意味を正確に取れない人が、100文の長文を速く読んでも、正確な理解は得られません。
今日は、Day 7で学んだ「前置詞句を（ ）で囲んで骨格を見抜く」技術を、実際の英文で練習します。
本編：精読トレーニング（10文）
やり方
- 英文を読む
- 前置詞句（前置詞＋名詞のかたまり）を（ ）で囲む
- （ ）を外して骨格（S＋V＋O/C）を見つける
- 全文を日本語に訳す
練習1（やさしい）
英文： The manager of the marketing department approved the budget for the new project at yesterday’s meeting.
ステップ1：前置詞句を（ ）で囲む
→ The manager (of the marketing department) approved the budget (for the new project) (at yesterday’s meeting).
ステップ2：骨格を見つける
→ The manager approved the budget.（S＋V＋O / 第3文型）
ステップ3：全文訳
→ 「マーケティング部のマネージャーは、昨日の会議で新しいプロジェクトの予算を承認した。」

英文： All employees in the Tokyo office must submit their travel expense reports to the accounting department by the end of each month.
前置詞句：
→ All employees (in the Tokyo office) must submit their travel expense reports (to the accounting department) (by the end) (of each month).
骨格：
→ All employees must submit their reports.（S＋V＋O）
全文訳：
→ 「東京オフィスの全従業員は、毎月末までに経費報告書を経理部に提出しなければならない。」

前置詞句：

骨格：

前置詞句＋修飾語を（ ）で囲む：
