The technician who repaired the server fixed the problem quickly.

「who repaired the server(サーバーを修理した)」という文が、「The technician」を説明するために埋め込まれています。

whothe technician who repaired the server
which物・事柄the report which was submitted yesterday
that人・物どちらもthe employee that joined last month

The employee who joined last year has already been promoted.

Ms. Park, who joined last year, has already been promoted.

→ 「Ms. Park(= 特定の人物)」にさらに情報を加えている。

コンマ+which …

2. 関係副詞 ― where / when / why / how

where場所the office where she works
whenthe day when the product was launched
why理由the reason why he resigned
how方法the way how(= the way SV)

The branch office (where the new team is based) opened last April.

The branch office opened last April.(第1文型)

The report (submitted by the finance team) includes quarterly projections.

The team (handling the project) meets every Monday.

Day 3では「OやCに『文』が入る構造(that節・whether節)」を扱います。
