Day 3では「名詞節(that節・whether節)」を学びました。

Although the restaurant received several negative reviews online, the number of reservations increased significantly after the new menu was introduced.

(Although the restaurant received several negative reviews online), the number of reservations increased (significantly) (after the new menu was introduced).

The number of reservations increased.(第1文型)

when, while, after, before, once, as soon as, until, by the time〜のとき・〜している間・〜したあと・〜する前・〜したらすぐ・〜するまで
理由because, since, as, now that〜なので・〜だから・〜になったので
条件if, unless, as long as, provided that, onceもし〜なら・〜でない限り・〜である限り
譲歩although, though, even though, even if, while, whereas〜だけれども・たとえ〜でも・〜であるのに対して
目的so that, in order that〜するために
結果so … that, such … that非常に〜なので

(Although sales declined last quarter), the company maintained its market share.

that×The report shows that sales grew.(O)
whether×The question is whether it works.(C)
whenThe alarm rang when he arrived.(時)He asked when the meeting starts.(O)
ifCall me if you need help.(条件)She asked if the item was in stock.(O)
