NOT問題とは何か
TOEIC Part 7の設問には「正しいことを選ぶ問題」と「正しくないことを選ぶ問題（NOT問題）」の2種類があります。
NOT問題の設問パターン：
What is NOT mentioned about the product?
Which of the following is NOT stated in the article?
According to the email, what is NOT included in the package?
なぜNOT問題が難しいか：
通常の問題は「本文中の1箇所」と「正解の選択肢」が一致すれば解けますが、NOT問題は4つの選択肢すべてを本文と照合しなければなりません。本文に書かれていた内容3つ（＝不正解）を見抜き、書かれていなかった内容1つ（＝正解）を選ぶ必要があります。
NOT問題の解法ステップ
Step 1：設問の種類を確認する
「NOT」「EXCEPT」の語に注目。見落とすと全て逆の答えを選んでしまいます。
Step 2：選択肢を先に読む
4つの選択肢のキーワードを確認し、本文のどこを読むべかを予測します。
Step 3：本文と選択肢を1つずつ照合する
「本文に書いてある → 不正解に×印」、「本文に書いていない → 正解候補に○印」
Step 4：消去法で正解を絞り込む
3つを×にできれば、残り1つが正解。
TRUE/FALSE問題の特徴
TOEIC本試験では厳密な「TRUE/FALSE」形式（○×形式）は出ませんが、以下のような事実確認問題が同じ解法を必要とします：
What is indicated about Mr. Johnson?
What is suggested about the new policy?
According to the notice, what will happen on Friday?
これらは本文と選択肢の内容が一致するかを確認する問題です。NOT問題と同じ「照合思考」が必要です。
NOT問題の誤答パターン
