なぜやるか
- Part1では「物がどこにあるか」「人がどこにいるか」を前置詞で表す問題が出る
- on と above の違い、near と next to の違いなど、紛らわしい前置詞の区別がカギ
- このLesson 04 を終えると、写真内の位置関係を正確に英語で表現できるようになる

紛らわしいペアの解説
1. on vs above
- on は接触している状態、above は離れて上方にある状態
- A painting is hanging on the wall.（絵が壁に掛かっている）→ 壁に接触しているから on
- A lamp is hanging above the table.（ランプがテーブルの上方にぶら下がっている）→ テーブルに触れていないから above
2. near vs next to
- near は「近く」で、距離にばらつきがある（少し離れていてもOK）
- next to は「隣に」で、ほぼ接している
- A trash can is near the entrance.（ゴミ箱が入口の近くにある）→ ある程度近い範囲
- A bookshelf is next to the desk.（本棚が机の隣にある）→ すぐ横にある
3. in front of vs facing
- in front of は「~の前に位置している」
- facing は「~の方を向いている、向かい合っている」
- A car is parked in front of the building.（建物の前に車が停まっている）→ 位置の話
- Two people are facing each other.（2人が向かい合っている）→ 向きの話
